Greenfield role. Make an impact on your team and the business straight away.
Pathways into the senior executive team.
Be a key player in bringing manufacturing back into Australia.
Step into a leadership role where you don’t just manage a team—you build it.
Making a bold investment in Australia’s workforce and manufacturing sector, your new employer is backed by a global powerhouse in Aluminium Production.
With a commitment to fostering local talent and driving innovation, they are opening a state-of-the-art facility and need an Operations Manager to lead the production team and establish its base operations.
A role with genuine long-term growth, this is more than just a leadership position. You’ll make critical and transformative decisions that lay foundations that enable decades of success.
The plans are for growth. Site expansions are on the horizon. For you, that means pathways into senior executive. And opportunities to become a shareholder.
This might just be the last job you ever need to take. And it’s your chance to shape the future of Australian manufacturing.
What’s in it for you?
This role isn’t your everyday operations gig.
This is a critical role establishing, implementing, and overseeing the operational framework of a new manufacturing facility.
Drawing on your years of industry expertise you will shape the very DNA of the facility, as you own critical structural and operational decisions that will make an impact for years to come.
And you’ll be trusted to challenge your expertise and innovate - optimising processes and minimising waste, to leave a positive impact on the business, your team, and the environment.
But this isn’t just any new venture. The backing of a well-known multinational means collaborating with global leaders in the industry, building your network equity and drawing on knowledge from over 40 years of successful operations.
About You
You’re a visionary. An open-minded leader who thrives on creating structure, driving efficiency, and inspiring your team to succeed. And on the way, establishing a culture from the ground up – the kind of culture that motivates people to get the best out of themselves, and rewards that work.
You have experience managing manufacturing operations with a hands-on approach to implementing SOPs and a mindset for continuous improvement. A background in a start-up manufacturing environment would be ideal. But not required.
Keeping your team safe and compliant is at the forefront of your decisions, so you have a strong knowledge of health, safety, and environmental compliance standards. Because, at the end of the day, everyone needs to get home.
Your new organisation
At the start of their Australian journey, your new organisation is determined to carve out a fresh path. But a new venture doesn’t mean risk. This business is backed by a leading global player with over 40 years of expertise.
But locally, you’re backed by a high-trust, highly-enabling Director who sees you as a partner, and knows the value of your expertise.
